Al-Munaafeqoon 2 of 2

O ye who believe let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever doth that then those! they are the losers. 9 And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." 10 But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Hypocrites (Al-Munaafeqoon). Sent down in Medina after Pilgrimage (Al-Hajj) before The Debate (Al-Mujaadalah)

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
