In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1
Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7
