Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 thereafter We seize it to Ourselves, drawing it gently. 46 And it is He who hath made for you the night a covering, and the sleep repose, and hath made the day a resurrection. 47 It is He who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy and We send down pure water from the sky, 48 That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 And if We had pleased We would certainly have raised a warner in every town. 51 So obey not the unbelievers, but struggle with them thereby mightily. 52 ۞ It was He who let forth the two seas, this one is palatably sweet and this salt, a bitter taste, and He set a barrier between them, and a refuge which is forbidden. 53 And it is He who created of water a mortal, and made him kindred of blood and marriage; thy Lord is All-powerful. 54 Yet they worship besides God that which can neither benefit them nor harm them. One who denies the truth is a helper [of evil] against his Lord. 55 And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner. 56 Say: I ask of you no reward for this, save that whoso will may choose a way unto his Lord. 57 Put thy trust in the Living God, the Undying, and proclaim His praise. Sufficiently is He aware of His servants sins 58 He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). 59 When they are told, "Prostrate yourselves before the Gracious One," they ask, "Who is this Gracious One? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you will?" This increases their aversion. ۩ 60
