Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They shall say: Nay! you-- no welcome to you: you did proffer it to us, so evil is the resting-place. 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
