For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you taken a binding promise from Us which would hold till the Day of Judgement, that you will get whatever you demand? 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or has something been guaranteed by any of those whom they associate with Allah in His Divinity?” If so, let them bring forth their associates, if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 Then his Lord chose him and placed him among the upright. 50 And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad." 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
