Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 who say, "Our Lord, ward off from us the punishment of Hell, for its punishment is a dreadful torment to suffer. 65 Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell. 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
