۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
