And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
