The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
