And this is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 who would have read it to them, they (pagans) would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
