We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
