We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
