And this life of the world is nothing but a sport and a play; and as for the next abode, that most surely is the life-- did they but know! 64 Now, if they embark on a boat, they call on Allah, making their devotion sincerely (and exclusively) to Him; but when He has delivered them safely to (dry) land, behold, they give a share (of their worship to others)!- 65 Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. 66 Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah? 67 And who could be more wicked than he who attributes his own lying inventions to God, or gives the lie to the truth when it comes unto him [through revelation]? Is not hell the [proper] abode for all who [thus] deny the truth? 68 And those who strove in Our way – We shall surely show them Our paths; and indeed Allah is with the virtuous. 69
