Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
