Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha, Meem. 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 The verses of this Book have been fully expounded. It is a reading in the Arabic language for the people of knowledge. 3 good tidings to bear, and warning, but most of them have turned away, and do not give ear. 4 They say: “Our hearts are securely wrapped up against what you call us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between you and us there is a veil. So act; we too are acting.” 5 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islamic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V. 2:105). 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 "The ones who believe and perform good deeds shall have a reward which will never be withheld from them." 8
