1/4 Hizb 50

۞ NOW WHENEVER [the nature of] the son of Mary is set forth as an example, [O Muhammad,] lo! thy people raise an outcry on this score, 57 And they say: are our gods better, or is he? They mention him not to thee save for disputation. Aye! they are a people contentious. 58 He is naught but a bondman: him We favoured, and him We made an ensample unto the Children of Israil. 59 And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth. 60 It is the knowledge of the Hour. Have no doubt concerning it, and follow me. This is a Straight Path, 61 Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. 62 And when 'Iesa (Jesus) came with (Our) clear Proofs, he said: "I have come to you with Al-Hikmah (Prophethood), and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ, therefore fear Allah and obey me, 63 Allah is my Lord and your Lord; therefore, serve Him. That is the Straight Way.” 64 But the factions differed among themselves. Woe alas to the sinners for the torment of the grievous Day! 65 Are they looking for anything except the Hour (to overtake them). It will come upon them suddenly when they are unaware! 66 The friends shall on that day be enemies one to another, except those who guard (against evil). 67

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
