The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and gushing water, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
