The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
