The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
