Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 And We destroyed no township but it had its warners 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
