Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
