45 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat) before The Town (Al-Balad)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
