The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9
