Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe to those who pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
