(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
