۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
