The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
