The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
