In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
