Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
