'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 And make my mission easy. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 "And remember You much, 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
