And Harun (Aaron) indeed had said to them beforehand: "O my people! You are being tried in this, and verily, your Lord is (Allah) the Most Beneficent, so follow me and obey my order." 90 They replied: 'We will not stop; we will cling to it until Moses returns to us.' 91 (Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong, 92 From following me? Then have you disobeyed my order?" 93 [Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, 'You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word.' " 94 Said [Moses]: "What, then, didst thou have in view, O Samaritan?" 95 He said: l saw that which they saw not; so I seized a handful from the footstep of the messenger, and then cast it; thus my soul embellished the affair to me. 96 Moses said, "Go away! Throughout your life you will not be able to let anyone touch you. This will be your punishment in this life. The time for your final punishment is inevitable. You will never be able to avoid it. Look at your god which you have been worshipping. We will burn it in the fire and scatter its ashes into the sea." 97 Your god is only Allah, except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge." 98 Thus do We relate to thee some stories of what happened before: for We have sent thee a Message from Our own Presence. 99 Whoever disregards (the Quran) will be heavily burdened with sin on the Day of Judgment 100 which they shall bear forever. It will be a grievous burden for them on the Day of Judgement, 101 The day when the Trumpet is blown. On that day we assemble the guilty white-eyed (with terror), 102 and they shall murmur among themselves: 'You have stayed away but ten (days and nights)' 103 We know well what they will say. The most just among them in the matter will declare: 'You have stayed away but one day' 104
