Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
