Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
