The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Merciful 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created the human being 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 (Transgress not in the Balance, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He has created man out of sounding clay, like pottery, 14 And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! 17 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
