The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 (and there) shall wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and shade extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
