The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
