The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A burning fire. 11
