The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
