We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
