Al-Talaaq 2 of 2

How many a town rebelled against the commands of its Lord and His messengers and We called them sternly to account and punished them severely, 8 They therefore tasted the evil outcome of their deeds, and the outcome of their deeds was a loss. 9 Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. So fear Allah and keep your duty to Him, O men of understanding who have believed! - Allah has indeed sent down to you a Reminder (this Quran). 10 and a messenger who conveys to you God's clear messages, so that he might lead those, who believe and do good deeds, out of darkness into light. God will admit those who believe in Him and do good deeds into Gardens with rivers flowing through them, where they will remain forever. God has indeed made excellent provision for them. 11 Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge. 12

True are the words of God the Almighty.
