The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
