Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
