Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
