3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
