Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And those who bear the load, 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope]. 17 And used to seek forgiveness before dawn. 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
