The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Most Merciful 1 Hath made known the Qur'an. 2 He hath created man. 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 Always measure with justice and do not give short measure. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 18 He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
