The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
