The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
