Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and ease my task for me, 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Increase through him my strength 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
